NEW WEEKEND SPORTS INJURY CLINIC

 

Allen Physiotherapy Murdoch now provides a Sports Injury Clinic every Saturday & Sunday 11am–4pm.

 

What is a Sports Injury Clinic?

The main purpose of our sports injury clinic is to assess and treat acute sports injuries that occur over the weekend. We will also be available for pre/post game treatment requirements.

 

What if I want to see a Physiotherapist on the weekend but it’s not an acute sports injury?

Primarily this is a sports injury clinic, however, if you need to see a physio urgently please contact us on 9353 1107 so that we can get you booked in as soon as possible.

 

Which Physiotherapist will I see?

When you book into our Sports Injury Clinic you will be assessed and treated by one of our experienced physiotherapists Craig Allen or Michael Collins.

 

Craig Allen

Craig is highly qualified in Sports Injury management having completed postgraduate specialty in Sports Physiotherapy and has vast experience in a large variety of sports at the elite level. Craig was Physiotherapist for the Fremantle Dockers as well as clubs in the WAFL.  Craig has been heavily involved with Basketball providing sports physio for NBL1 & currently treats many WABL players from various clubs throughout WA.  Craig is thrilled to have Mikey Collins join him.

 

Michael Collins

Mikey graduated from Curtin University in 2019.  Mikey has a great interest in assisting patients with their sports injuries and rehabilitation. Mikey has spent many years as a keen sportsman, recently playing NBL1 & D League for the Willetton Tigers. This experience in sport combined with his physiotherapy expertise gives him a great understanding of what is required to get his patients ready to return to their sport of choice.

We currently also accept walk ins. 

 

What if it’s an Emergency?

There may be instances where an ED is required.  If you are concerned or suffering an extreme medical issue or severe injury please go to your nearest hospital or contact 000.
